Amatista is a gem in the heart of Coyoacan! The tacos are not only delicious but also perfectly located. From the crunchy texture to the well-combined ingredients, each taco is a delightful experience. Having frequented this place with my family, it has become our go-to spot, especially for my kids who absolutely love it. The best tostadas in Mexico City!!! I went there to get one and ended up having three! They’re so good and you want to try them all. The owner is really friendly. She even gave me some samples to help me decide what to get. Nice place for lunch or supper before or after visiting La Casa Azul

I am addicted to their ceviche tostadas. I went twice and will go again to try their other tostadas. Their tortilla soup (Aztec) is also delicious. Staff is very nice! I recommend this place

The tuna tostada was divine, there is an English menu. Chef Diana was a delight and great help when choosing what to order. The mole was delicious and mixed fresh

What a gem of a restaurant! We stumbled upon its while looking for lunch as we waited for our tour of the Frida Kahlo museum. It was nestled right next to the big Mercado, just next to the park. These were outstanding tostadas. The Pozole tostada blew my mind. The tuna tostada was fresh and delicious, served with a spicy sauce I think was aguachile negro (?) which gave it a depth of flavor and some pleasing heat. The shop is very small, but don't let that scare you away. Service was very friendly and prompt. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Coyoacan.

Little gem on the way to frida's house. Ceviche and tongue tostidos were amazing. Service kind and attentive. Much better than azul central we went to last night
